Big Slabs Packing
Large slabs of stone may require special ‘A’ frames or ‘H’ frames for packing and securing inside a container.
Advantages: Vertical or sideways placement aligns the force applied to the marble slabs with their grain, significantly enhancing their compressive strength and preventing breakage.
Fixing method: Use professional cable ties to firmly fix the entire stack of stone slabs on the A-frame, and fix them in the container with wooden strips and wires. The bottom of the wooden frame is nailed to the bottom of the container with wooden blocks to prevent any movement.
Tiles Packing
For custom-sized tiles, we use custom-made wooden crates. The tiles are securely fastened inside the crates, and cushioning materials like foam or sawdust ensure the tiles don’t move. The crates themselves are also designed to withstand significant external pressure.
3.Countertops Packing
Countertops for construction or wholesale are of uniform size and easy to package.
For home countertops, due to the large size of island countertops, we need to customize special plywood boxes and custom molded foam for packaging, securing the stone to the wooden box.
